arrow and compass The symbolism of the Compass and Arrow represents new direction, signifying anything from a new chapter in one’s life to a new relationship. The Compass has long been a symbol for guidance and the ability to point us in the right direction and the single Arrow embodies protection from harm and momentum towards a designated target or goal. Together these provide a powerful metaphor exemplifying how I perceive the therapeutic process.

The path of life can unfold in a multitude of directions and every individual journey is its own unique experience. Therapy can assist us in the process of navigating the inevitable changes that we all face.

I join with clients on their individual journeys to help support them in a collaborative relationship to uncover the desired solution and direction from expansive possibilities.

I approach my work with care and compassion to provide my clients with the most effective form of treatment for them. My style emphasizes present moment awareness as well as the relationship between thoughts and feelings. I believe that no two people are alike, and therefore I combine all of my life experiences along with my clinical training to ensure that each of my clients has their own unique experience and connection with me.

Although my educational background is rooted in Family Systems, Humanistic, Existential, Narrative, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, I have completed internships and trainings in Psychodynamic, Emotionally Focused, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, and Solution Focused approaches that I incorporate into my practice. I believe that part of my duty as your therapist is to identify the appropriate blend of therapeutic approaches that best connect with you, your personality, and specific needs.

I hold a safe, non-judgemental, and comfortable space where together we can effectively overcome the obstacles and emotional issues affecting you by transforming your life and relationships to bring about the change you seek and deserve.
